After discussion with James we decided to go with the right side together seaming.
Other considerations had to be taken into account. The skins are thicker at the neck edge so we will have to work out the pattern lay out to make best use of the skins.
Next task is to do a test piece stitching the interlining to the leather outer.
The lining needs to be strong enough to take the strain when the doublet is worn to minimise stretching the outer.
Great pictures Joy, I think it is the right decision to do right sides together. Will have to order the interlining now I suppose!
